This tiny soccer-boy doesn't seem to realize that Marmaduke is slowly consuming a player on the opposing team.

Or perhaps he doesn't care because he wants the advantage of the other team being down a player. Kids these days lack sportsmanship. And also fear of enormous dogs that eat children. They really should be more afraid of those.
